ANIM’ACTION FILM FESTIVAL - OPENING NIGHT IN ADELAIDE 

This festival evening will be held at the Mercury Cinema and will celebrate, in his presence, Benoît Chieux’s animation movie, Sirocco and the Kingdom of Air, which won the audience award this year at the Annecy Animation Film Festival. 

Join us from 6:15pm for some light refreshments, followed by a special presentation by French Director Benoît Chieux and the screening of the movie Sirocco and the Kingdom of Air.
 
The Anim'Action Film Festival celebrates the vivid culture of animation and offers a showcase of Australian and French works by programming 3 days of screening and introductions by filmmakers, in Sydney, Brisbane and Adelaide.

The festival was created in 2022 under the patronage of the French Embassy, in partnership with the Annecy International Animation Film Festival. 

This event is presented in coordination with the French Embassy in Australia, Adelaide Alliance Française, Flinders University and CDW Studios.
