TOUR À LA FRANÇAISE: DANGEROUSLY MODERN EXHIBITION AT THE AGSA
AUGUST 2025

The day started the French way with a viennoiserie and hot drink at Maison Clément, followed by an exclusive guided tour in French of the Dangerously Modern exhibition at the Art Gallery of South Australia (AGSA). This exhibition celebrates the work of women artists who lived in or travelled to France — particularly Paris — and whose practices were deeply influenced by the French art scene. During the tour, you’ll uncover how French culture, landscapes, and ideas helped shape some of the most captivating artworks on display. Whether you're passionate about art, language, or simply curious to explore more of French culture, this event offered the perfect blend of flavour and inspiration.

Where: Maison Clément & Art Gallery of South Australia

When: Saturday 16 August, 9:15am – 11:30am

What’s included: Viennoiserie & hot drink + guided tour in French

Wine Tour à la Française - April 2024

We organised a wine tour with a French twist ! Accompanied by specialist Nathalie Taquet (Bottli, Taquet Curation) behind the wheel of a minibus, we drove to the Adelaide Hills for 3 tastings with Cyrano Wines, Tapanappa Winery, and Jean Bouteille

With Cyrano Wines, we experienced the best wine of the Languedoc region in the south of France, while enjoying French nibbles.

At Tapanappa, we discovered the perfect balance between South Australian Terroir and French savoir-faire.

And finally we tasted Jean Bouteille's natural wine and learn about wine making. Jean-Baptiste is French winemaker, passionate with zero addition wine, who makes all his wine in a beautiful hidden spot of the Adelaide Hills (picture).

Illuminate - July 2024

Iinaugural edition of our exciting new concept, "Adelaide à la Française." This day took us to the renowned Illuminate Festival, which magically transforms Adelaide into an enchanting city through mesmerizing light and sound displays.

Naturally, our focus was on the festival's Francophone artists, as we delved into the innovative works of Ammonite and Lap Games. But that's not all! Prior to the visit, we had the pleasure of meeting the artists behind these masterpieces over a delightful afternoon tea at Maison Clément. They  accompanied us for a guided tour and a French-speaking discussion about the artworks.

Saturday 8 July 2023, 4:30pm
Rendez-vous: Maison Clément
