The Climate Fresk Workshop at AF Adelaide
What is the Climate Fresk?
The Climate Fresk (La Fresque du Climat) is a
collaborative, science-based workshop that makes climate change understandable for everyone. Created in France in 2018 by
Cédric Ringenbach, it’s based on the latest IPCC reports and uses a set of 42 illustrated cards to help participants map out the links
between human activities and climate disruption.
In just 3 hours, groups work together to uncover the complexity of climate science—and leave empowered with knowledge, clarity, and a desire
to take action.
It is now a global movement: Organised in 167 countries and translated into over 50 languages, the Climate
Fresk counts more than 2,1 millions participants and 96 000 facilitators. It is trusted by schools, universities, companies,
governments, and individuals around the world.
At the Alliance Française Adelaide, as part of our strong commitment to addressing the climate emergency, we are proud to have trained facilitators to run Climate Fresk workshops in both English and French. We’re excited to bring this powerful tool for climate education and action to our community.
