This is a transitional course into the new course structure format.

This course is designed for students with an intermediate level. To attend this class learners must no longer be considered as «beginners» but must have some strong notions of French and have already been introduced to the past tenses (imparfait, passé composé, plus-que-parfait), the present and the future tenses.

Students will learn how to:

  • Talk about new modes of communication and how to describe an event, make a suggestion or persuade someone to do something.
  • Give their opinion about a TV programme and a newspaper headline (current affairs).
  • Review media articles (describing a minor news item).
