Coctaeu’s Orphic Trilogy screens at The Mercury Cinema’s Adelaide Cinémathèque, christening their strand on surrealist cinema. Coctaeu
interprets the Greek myth as a journey into the unconscious, a personal story of a poet’s own ability to tell truth, to charm, to
inspire. Told through innovative in-camera trickery, the descent into hell is a remarkable trip.
