Newly arrived in Adelaide, I am very happy to take over the direction of the Alliance Française! As winter comes to an end, the sweetness of spring brings along a host of festivities: the French Market in November, the OzAsia festival in October, our Spring Holiday Workshops, the upcoming Term 4 starting 14 October, and so much more. I look forward to meeting you all very soon!

Fraichement arrivée à Adelaide, je suis très heureuse de reprendre la direction de l’Alliance Française ! Pour l’heure, l’hiver touche à sa fin et c’est avec douceur que le printemps annonce son lot de festivités : le French Market en novembre, le festival OzAsia en octobre, les ateliers des vacances à l’Alliance et reprise du 4eme trimestre le 14 octobre, et autres réjouissances. Club de Lecture: La cicatrice

This month, the book club will discuss La cicatrice by Bruno Lowery, which follows Jeff, an outcast because of a 'scar', who steals a classmate's stamps and the ensuing cover-up of his actions.

French Market is back!

The annual French Market is coming back to Adelaide! Keep an eye out on our Facebook page, special event page, and our French Market website in the coming weeks to see all the fantastic stalls, entertainment and food that will be available for a taste of all things French!

Term 4 is fast approaching with classes starting on Monday, 14 October. Enrolment for Term 4 courses at the Alliance Française is still open with classes filling up fast, so enrol today and learn French with us!

French Intensive for Year 11 and 12

For students studying Year 11 or 12 SACE or IB, we offer our French intensive course for more preparation. This course will help students brush up on their grammar, listening, comprehension, written and oral skills; and prepare Year 12 students for the SACE Continuers French exam, focusing on three strands: Communication, Understanding Language and Understanding Culture.

DELF & DALF (Adults) and DELF Junior 

The DELF & DALF are official French language proficiency certifications for adult non-native speakers and are available for Levels A1 to C2. DELF Junior is an official French proficiency diploma for children aged 12 to 17 years old learning French and young French citizens living in Australia.

No prior test or certification is needed and your results are valid for life!
Contact us as soon as possible about registering to be best prepared for the exams.

Compagnie Hervé Koubi

Combining strength, form and athleticism, 12 male dancers form spirals in fluid patterns of Sufi whirling, breakdancing, ballet and gymnastics that seem to defy physics.

Acclaimed French-Algerian choreographer Hervé Koubi has crafted a distinct style of movement, one that fuses extraordinary athleticism and acrobatic skill with contemporary dance and physical theatre.

Molière’s Les Fourberies de Scapin, performed by Panache Adelaide French Theatre Company in a new production, is a comedy about the intergenerational problems encountered by two families.
