This course is designed for beginners in French with basic knowledge of the language (alphabet, presentation, numbers etc.).

Students will learn how to:

  • Describe a city while reinforcing notions previously learnt, such as the gender of nouns.
  • Book accommodation and how to give/ask for directions.
  • Write a postcard giving impressions about a place, describing their activities and making a comment about the weather.

Objectives


By the end of the course, learners will be able to: 

  1. Interact in a simple way.
  2. Ask and respond to simple questions about personal information.
  3. Communicate some basic needs in informal conversations.
  4. Understand key words and simple commands in simple conversations.
  5. Show some control over basic grammatical structures to communicate basic needs.
