This course is designed for students with an intermediate level. To attend this class learners must no longer be considered as « beginners » but have some strong notions of French and have already been introduced to the passé composé, the present tense, the futur proche and the futur simple.

Students will learn how to:

  • Talk about a country and its inhabitants. They will also discuss stereotypes and clichés and learn how to talk about statistics and percentages.
  • Evoke a radical change in life and how to express their feelings regarding this change. They will also talk about cultural differences, habits and manners.
  • Talk about their place of residence and how to justify one's choices with a focus on comparative studies and rankings.

  • Express your point of view about manners and habits in France.

  • Express your opinion about the place you live (why you choose this city / area / country): its advantages and disadvantages.
