Firstly, thank you for the fantastic attendance at this year's French Market! We are thrilled by the event's success. Not to be missed over the next few weeks: the cooking class with Mulot's (8 December), the art presentation by Reno and Claire Marca (14 December), and the French Festival (12-14 January). Wishing you an enjoyable summer break, and we look forward to seeing you again in late January!

Art Presentation - Reno et Claire Marca

Thursday, 14th December - 6pm
Alliance Française, 319 Young St, Wayville

A presentation of the 'Travel Diaries' (ou 'Carnets de voyage') of Claire & Reno Marca, author and illustrator– photographer, who publish the stories of their travel adventures over 10 years. They will share their memories and experiences during their travels with us on Thursday, 14 December, 6pm at Alliance Française d'Adélaïde. This is a free event.

Special Screening - Just to Be Sure

Adelaide French Festival - AF Workshops

Saturday, 13th, and Sunday, 14th January 2018

Alliance Francaise will be holding two workshops during the Adelaide French Festival: Think You Know France? for the adults and Froggie's Club for the kids.

Think You Know France? will be held on Saturday, 13th January, and is open to all. You don’t need to speak French to attend! French natives, intermediates and novices will all be welcomed with a champagne aperitif on entry. Test your knowledge of France and French culture at this one-off workshop with tickets available here.

We have two Froggie's Club workshops: Saturday 13th for ages 4-6, and Sunday 14th for ages 7-10. We encourage young children, eager to learn more about French culture, to join in fun-filled sessions including traditional French songs, storybooks, games and craft activities. Club de Lecture

Wednesday, 29th November - 6:30pm-8pm
Alliance Française, 319 Young St, Wayville

For this month's Club de Lecture, the club will be discussing La Possibilité d'une île by Michel Houellebecq , which tells the story of Daniel, a successful comedian, and his two clones, in a post-apocalyptic future set in a cloning cult.

A new way to practise your French, Club de Lecture allows you to develop and improve your reading and comprehension skills.

Mulots Pâtisserie - Cooking Class

Friday, 8 December - 6:30-7:30pm

Current members of the Alliance Française d’Adélaïde have been invited to enter a members only competition to attend a free patisserie demonstration by Mulots Patisserie, followed by tastings.

10 lucky members will learn how to make Quiche de Lorraine and Bûche de Noël, just in time for Christmas!
