Courses

New students who are not complete beginners need to have their level assessed prior to joining a class. To ensure the best quality in teaching, the Alliance Française reserves the right to redirect a student to another French class within the Alliance if the student's level does not match the rest of the class. |

Course fees are calculated on the basis of a minimum of seven students per class. If the required number of students is not reached within two lessons, the Alliance Française reserves the right to cancel the class or modify the course fees to accommodate the lower number of students. |

In the event that a course is cancelled, the student will be offered another course. If no suitable course is found, the course fee will be refunded in full, less the cost of any lessons taught. |
|
Monday classes falling on public holidays will automatically be rescheduled to the Friday of the same week, at the same time. |
Payment
|
Courses must be paid for at the time of registration. The student must pay all fees before commencing a course. |
|
Fees are paid by the term and are independent of the number of classes held per course. |
|
There will be no refund should the student fail to attend every class or leave before the end of the term. |
|
If a student withdraws before the beginning of a course, the full amount minus 20% administration fees will be refunded. |
Discounts
|
A 10% discount is available for concession card holders and University students. This discount does not apply to special offers. |
|
A 5% discount on the total course fee is available where 2 or more family members register for courses. |
|
A discount can not be used in conjunction with any other discount or offer. |
Please note:

If at the time of registration, you know that you will have to leave before the end of the term, you can ask for a discounted price. In this case the fee structure will be the number of lessons you are able to attend PLUS a 20% administration fee. Please, contact the reception before the beginning of the term. |
