This year, four great children and teenagers movies have been chosen for the school screenings:
Click below for teaching resources on the following movies:
- A Cat in Paris: Kindy to Year 6
directed by Alain Gagnol and Jean-Loup Felicioli. By day a child’s beloved companion… by night, a rooftop-roaming thief! The captivating new film from France’s most acclaimed animation studio, Gebeka.
- Wolf: Year 3 to year 8
directed by Nicolas Vanier. Dazzling cinematography and a superb score take centre stage in this charming fable of man versus wild, which hints at environmental issues and the devasting effects of deforestation.
- The Round-Up: Year 9 to year 12
directed by Roselyne Bosch. Suberb casting (Jean Reno, Mélanie Laurent…) and moving direction from writer/director Roselyne Bosch capture this shattering depiction of what has become known as the greatest mass-arrest of Jews ever carried out on French soil.
- Oceans: Year 9 to year 12
directed by Jacques Perrine & Jacques Cluzaud. We would like to inform you that "AO, the Last Neandertal" is replaced by "Océans"
The Cesar for best documentary was awarded to Jacques Perrin and Jacques Cluzaud to Océans
