The current season of the Alliance Française French Film Festival has emerged as the most successful in the Festival’s proud 27-year history. With more than 1,900 sessions nationally and an impeccable line-up of 49 diverse French films, the 2016 season captivated audiences of all ages and tastes. 20 cinema locations in the 8 participating cities of Sydney, Melbourne, Canberra, Adelaide, Brisbane, Byron Bay, Perth and Hobart gathered a national attendance of 168,000+ attendees.
Presented by the Alliance Française in association with the Embassy of France in Australia, along with the generous support of Presenting Sponsor Peugeot and Exhibition partner Palace Cinemas, this event would not be possible without the dedicated efforts of many individuals and organisations. Wonderful team work and an excellent coordination between all partners contributed greatly to the success of the 2016 Festival.
